POTTERY PERU SHIPIBO POT + BOWL AMAZON PRIMITIVES ANTIQUE RED/BLK + MELLOW TAN

Description

Pottery from Peru's Shipibo Indians includes a Bowl and small Pot/Vase. Both have the unique Linear Line Art in their typical Black and Red Designs on mellow tan clay. There are unique Designs on both pieces. Both are paper thin, yet solid, after all these years. No cracks, etc, some minor paint loss. The Pot is 3 3/4" Tall and 2/1/4" Wide at the Top. At its bulbous center, 3.5".  Note in pics it has a small raised base which flows into the rest of the shape. The top edges of the Vase are scalloped, not broken. The Bowl has two unique designs; inside on the bowl edging and also on the outside of the bowl. The Bowl is 5 1/4" wide and sits 2" tall. The Base is 1 3/4"  where you view the black circle, and raised just a little. The bowl is the traditional mellow tan on the inside with the outside a darker reddish color. The "spot" inside Bowl appears to be Original, as color matches a drop of paint. Both are Antique and Museum quality. Shipped USPS Priority Mail which includes Tracking and Insurance
